Danielle

Dental Assistant

I have been with Pyfferoen Pediatric Dentistry since March 2012. I graduated from Marshalltown Community College’s dental assisting program. Our office is a fun place to be, full of people who enjoy each other’s company. We all work hard to help patients have a positive experience.

I live in a small town and have a dog, Pixie. She is a rascal but I love her. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends: camping, reading, and watching movies. I love to travel and would someday like to visit Hawaii and Jamaica. I enjoy most genres of music and going to concerts, but if I had to choose my favorite, it would be country music. If you visit our office, you’re more than likely to find me in pink. It’s my favorite color.

Brittany

Dental Assistant

I have been with Pyfferoen Pediatric Dentistry since August 2018. I studied at Iowa State and then Des Moines Area Community College, where I received my dental assisting degree in 2011. I assist Dr. Matt and Dr. Denise caring for patients, whether it is their first consultation appointment, a recall appointment, restorative, or a post-operation appointment. I love seeing the kids grow to love our office, team, and most importantly, Dr. Matt and Dr. Denise.

I have been married since 2014 to David and have a stepson Brayden. I enjoy watching football, taking snowmobile trips, camping, boating, and spending time with friends and family. My favorite food is pasta! I have a cat named Winston who is very spoiled. You will often find me at home having popcorn and watching movies with my family.

Tricia

Dental Hygienist

I have been with Pyfferoen Pediatric Dentistry in my current position since June 2018, but started here as a dental assistant in 2013. My role in the office depends on where I can assist Dr. Matt or Dr. Denise the most with my expanded training, and it can change from day to day. I can be seen anywhere from helping prepare patients for restorative treatment, to placing sealants, to giving oral hygiene advice, and removing more stubborn deposits and stain on teeth. My goal as a dental hygienist is to instill good oral hygiene habits in our patients and to educate them on why these habits are so important.

I live in Ankeny with my husband and two boys, Joshua and Jacob. They are what consume my free time!

Dan

Office Manager

I have been with Pyfferoen Pediatric Dentistry since June 2012. I previously spent 20 years at St. Anthony School as their before-and-after-school daycare director. I am a graduate of St. Anthony School, Dowling Catholic, and Grand View University (College). I love that every day there is something new to learn. I look forward to being able to talk to parents and kids and getting to know them a little more at every visit. I want them to know that we love seeing them and can’t wait to see them at their six-month visit.

I have four children: Marguerite, James, Josephine, and Mia. I enjoy attending my children’s activities, spending time with family and friends, gardening, yard work, woodworking, art, music, and classic car shows. I also enjoy coaching youth basketball for my children’s teams.

Angela

Dental Assistant

I attended Kirkwood Community College to get my AAS degree in dental assisting and joined Pyfferoen Pediatric Dentistry in 2014. I help Dr. Matt and Dr. Denise by cleaning kids’ teeth before he comes in to count their teeth and check them over for cavities or concerns. I also help clean up for the next patients and help to keep the office running smooth. It’s so exciting to see kids who are anxious to be at the dentist improve drastically at their next appointment. Seeing their little smiles is the best!

I am a wife to my wonderful husband Brandon and a mother of two spunky and beautiful girls, Brynlee and Haddie, with one more on the way! In my free time … what free time? When possible, I really enjoy playing rec volleyball and biking. I love being a stay-at-home mom, but working part-time gives me an opportunity to flex my dental assisting muscles while getting to socialize!

Get Started

Say cheese!

Before we can recommend a treatment plan, we need to take a peek at your teeth. Let’s warm up with a head-on selfie. Bite down on your back teeth and smile as wide as you can! Do your best to match the photo at the top.

Left side

Great shot! Next up, we need to see your smile from the left side. Still biting down on your back teeth, pull your cheek back either with your fingers or using a spoon. Do your best to match the photo at the top.

Right side

These are coming out great! Let's try the same shot, this time from the right. Make sure you're biting down on your back teeth! Do your best to match the photo at the top.

Upper teeth

Next up, we need to see your upper teeth from below. Open wide! You may want to enlist the help of a friend for this one. Do your best to match the photo at the top.

Bottom teeth

Almost done: just one shot left! This time, we need to see your lower teeth. Once you've taken all of your photos, click Request Consult to send your shots to our doctor!
